LOCATION AND NEARBY ATTRACTIONS
Q. Do you offer any packages with passes to Orlando Attractions?
A. Yes, we feature a 4-night package that includes Walt Disney World® attraction tickets. Additional Orlando attraction tickets available for a la carte purchase at the Expedia Fun Desk, located in the Main Lobby or click here to purchase tickets online at a secure website.

Q. What are your restaurant options outside of the hotel?
A. We are located a mile and a half from Walt Disney World® Resort offering a multitude of restaurants and we are a short five minute drive from Crossroads which has TGIFriday's, Olive Garden, Chevy's, Red Lobster and more! Downtown Disney® area also offers Wolfgang Puck's Café, Bongo's Cuban Cafe™ and House of Blues®. The Vista Bistro, a great steakhouse, is located next door at our sister property Buena Vista Suites.

DINING
Q. Do you offer complimentary breakfast?
A. We do not offer complimentary breakfast unless you choose one of our breakfast-included packages.  However, we do offer an excellent breakfast buffet in The Tropicale restaurant for a very affordable price (breakfast buffet is available seasonally).

Q. What type of dining options are at the Caribe Royale?
A. We have 24 hour room service, a 24 hour deli called Café Largo that features sandwiches, deli items, pizzas, salads, breakfast items, coffee, beverages, beer, wine, snacks and candy.  Our breakfast, lunch and dinner restaurant is called The Tropicale and it is perfect for casual dining with family or business associates.  Calypso’s Bar & Grill is located poolside, with grilled items, salads, frozen drinks and other beverages.  Lastly, for a truly unforgettable dining experience, The Venetian Room is a AAA Four Diamond and Zagat rated restaurant which has won many awards, including “Best Restaurant and Best Service in Orlando.  We recommend a jacket and reservations.

FACILITIES & SERVICES
Q. Does the Caribe Royale allow smoking on hotel grounds?
A. Our hotel offers a small selection of smoking-permitted guest rooms, upon request and subject to availability. In compliance with Florida law, we do not permit smoking in public areas. Management has determined that e-cigarettes are to be included in the same category as cigarettes and will not permit their use in public areas and in non-smoking guest accommodations.

Q. How many pools are at the Caribe Royale?
A. We have a total of 3 outdoor pools (including a kiddie pool).  

Q. What is the temperature of the pools and their hours?
A. The pools are kept between 80-84 degrees and are open 8:00am until 11:00pm. The 75-foot water slide is open from 8:30am until 10:30pm.

Q. Are there any restrictions regarding the water slide?
A. There are a few safety restrictions. Children are permitted on the water slide unaccompanied by an adult only if they meet or exceed the 42-inch minimum height requirement. If they are shorter, an adult is required to accompany them down the slide. Also, "floaties" and "water wings" cannot be worn on the slide. Only United States Coast Guard (USCG) Approved Personal Floatation Devices may be worn for the safety of our guests.

Q. What is your policy regarding pets?
A. The only pets we can accommodate are service pets. Documentation may be requested by our staff.

Q. Do you have guest washers and dryers at your facility?
A. Coin operated washers and dryers are located throughout the hotel.

Q. Do you provide dry cleaning services?
A. Same day dry cleaning service is available through our Bell Service Desk.

Q. Do you have a spa on property?
A.  The Spa offers nail, massage and complete body treatments along with waxing services and facials.  The Island Spa is open daily, however, Spa hours and pricing are subject to change seasonally. Q. Do you sell attraction tickets?
A. Guests can purchase Orlando theme park and attraction tickets online or at the Expedia desk in our main lobby.

Q.  Print Boarding Passes?
A. Visit the Front Desk with your confirmation number and we will print out your boarding passes.

Q. Is there a gift shop on site?
A. Our gift shop is located in the main reception building.

Q. Is there a resort fee?
A. No, we do not impose resort fees.

Q.  Do you offer Valet parking?
A.  Yes we offer Valet parking:  $9 plus tax Day Guest Valet (per day) and $12 plus tax Overnight Valet (per night).  Visit our Restaurant/Bar and get your ticket validated (3 hour max).

Q. Is there a parking fee?
A. No, parking is complimentary.  (During select special events a parking fee may be charged for non-registered guests.  Valet parking is available for a fee)

Q. What are your telephone rates?
A. Local calls are $.75 plus tax in addition to a $.10 per minute fee following the first 30 minutes of the call. Extended connections to toll-free numbers are $.75 plus tax in addition to a $.10 per minute following the first 30 minutes of the call.

Q. Is there a charge for High-Speed Internet Access?
A. The prevailing rate for High Speed Internet Access is $9.99 per day (per 24 hour period).

Q. What children's services do you provide?
A. We do not currently offer children's day care, however, the Caribe Royale has three excellent outdoor pools, including a kiddie pool, 75 foot waterslide, two game rooms and night lighted tennis and basketball courts. Cribs are available upon request. And of course, Walt Disney World® Theme Parks, Sea World, and attractions for kids of all ages are only minutes away.

Q. Do you have a lost and found?
A. Yes, our Loss Prevention Department has a Lost & Found division.  You can reach them by dialing (407) 238-8147 or by dialing "0" for the Hotel Operator while you are on property and using a house phone.  *Please note that any found unclaimed medications will be discarded after 24 hours.

Q. What chain are you affiliated with?
A. We are proud to be independently owned and operated, with a local staff of hospitality professionals dedicated to making your visit as enjoyable as possible.

Q. Do you provide services to blind guests?
A. Caribe Royale has partnered with ClickAndGo Wayfinding Maps to offer a new searchable and fully accesible wayfinding service for our blind guests.  For more information click here.

Q. What is Stash Hotel Rewards and why should guests of Caribe Royale become members?

Q. How many points do Stash Reward members earn per stay?
A. You always earn five Stash Points for every dollar you spend on eligible room rates.  For example, a two-night stay at a $150 room rate will earn you 1,500 points (5 pts x 150 dollars x 2 nights), while a three-night stay at a $200 room rate will earn you 3,000 points (5 pts x 200 dollars x 3 nights).  If you are a meeting planner and elilgible to earn Stash points, please ask your sales professional for more information on how your Stash Meeting Planner Points will be calculated, as the formula is different from that noted above.

Q. Do Stash members receive any special recognition or perks?
A. We appreciate our Stash members and extend special arrival courtesies to you upon check-in. In order to receive these courtesies, you need to have entered your Stash member ID into your reservation in the field marked "Stash member ID." A. You're just a few steps away.

Q. What is your rating?
A. Caribe Royale is a Three Star Hotel, plus an official Walt Disney World Good Neighbor® Hotel and has also received the M&C Gold Key Award, Meeting News Planners Choice Award, among others. Our Venetian Room Restaurant has been awarded awarded the prestigious AAA Four-Diamond Award many consecutive years.

Q. What steps is your hotel taking to be more environmentally friendly?
A. The Caribe Royale is pleased to have been designated an official Green Lodging hotel by the state of Florida. Click here to learn more about the Florida Green Lodging Program.

Q. What is your cancellation policy?
A. If your plans change, we are happy to accept your cancellation with 72 hours notice at no additional charge.

Q. What are your check-in and check-out times?
A. Caribe Royale has different check-in times depending on whether you reserved a suite or a villa.  The check-in time for suites is 3pm and the check-in time for villas is 4pm.  For all hotel guests, the check-out time is 11am.

Q. Do you allow late check-out requests?
A. We honor late check-out requests based upon availability. The pricing for late check-outs is as follows:
1:00pm - 3:00pm     $50.00
3:00pm - 6:00pm     Half a night's room and tax
After 6:00pm            One full night's room and tax

Q. You do have an Early Departure Fee?
A. Yes, once you confirm the dates of your stay at check-in you are responsible for an early departure fee should you choose to depart the hotel prior to the scheduled date.  That fee is $50.00.

Q. Is there a minimum age that a guest needs to be in order to check in?
A. Yes, the minimum check-in age is 18 years old.  Additionally, any guest under the age of 21 must provide a valid credit card in order to check-in.  This includes all 3rd party reservations in which the guest is responsible for incidentals only.  Any cash paying guest under the age of 21 will also be required to provide a valid credit card for incidentals in order to check-in.

SUITES AND VILLAS
Q. Do you provide kitchen utensils and silverware in the villas?
A. Our villa kitchens are fully stocked, and Guest Services will be happy to bring you anything else you may need.

Q. How many people are allowed to stay in the suites and villas?
A. Five total people are permitted to stay in the one-bedroom suites and eight adults are permitted to stay in the two-bedroom villas.

TRANSPORTATION
Q. Do you provide transportation to/from the airport? or AmTrak Station?
A. Guests can choose to take taxis or a shuttle service from Orlando International Airport. Our preferred shuttle provider is Mears Transportation and information and pricing can be found on their website.  For more information please click here.

Q. Do you have transportation to the local theme parks?
A. Our hotel offers scheduled shuttle services to the Walt Disney World® Theme Parks and an evening shuttle to the Downtown Disney® area for a roundtrip fee of $4 per person, beginning September 1, 2014. Tickets are required for all riders aged 3 years and older.  Shuttle tickets can be purchased up to 30 days in advance and the shuttles are operated by our transportation partner, Mears Transportation. The shuttles operate between the four Disney™ Theme Parks, Downtown Disney, and our two hotels. Q. Do the Disney shuttles stop at other hotels?
A. No, the shuttles run directly between Disney and our two hotels, Buena Vista Suites and Caribe Royale. The shuttle picks up hotel guests outside of Towers I, II and III, and makes a final stop outside the Main Reception Building.

Q. Do you have transportation to Orlando Premium Outlets - Vineland Ave?
A. Complimentary scheduled shopping transportation is provided for hotel guests to the Orlando Premium Outlets - Vineland Ave.  To obtain the free vouchers, guests should visit the Expedia Guest Services desk in the lobby. The agent will give each guest two vouchers (one voucher for each leg of the trip) and call for the shuttle which will pick the guest up at the front of each hotel. Guests can request to be dropped off at any area of the Orlando Premium Outlets - Vineland Ave.  To return to the hotel, the guest will need to call the number on the back of the return voucher and request pick up. (shuttles are operated by Mears Transportation). Expedia Guest Services desk is open from 7am – 10:00pm or call (407) 238-8010.  For more details click here. While at the outlets, you can also catch the I-Ride Trolley to visit Pointe Orlando and the numerous shops and restaurants along the I-Drive corridor.  It's a fun and affordable way to get around International Drive! I-Ride Trolley passes are available for purchase at the Expedia Guest Services desk in both hotel lobbies, and are also available at many locations within the International Drive resort area and from the I-Ride sales office. Passes are not sold on Trolleys.

Q. Do you have transportation to Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores?
A. Our hotel also offers a complimentary shuttle to the Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores. There is one pick up time from each of our hotels and several scheduled return times available.  Pick up from Caribe Royale is 10:15am daily.  Return times: 1:30pm, 2:50pm, 4:30pm, 6:00pm, and 7:00pm.  Please note that the mall closes at 7:00pm on Sunday. The last shuttle return time on Sunday is 6:00pm. Shuttle service is for hotel guests only. Shuttles pick up outside the front of the hotel. The mall pick up location is near the food court and there are signs directing guests where to go. Arrive for the shuttles 10 minutes early. Space is subject to availability. Food, drinks and personal luggage are not permitted on the shuttle. The shuttle is non-smoking and wheelchairs lifts are not available. Q. Are the shuttle buses ADA accessible?
