Festival Flavors You Can’t Miss: EPCOT® International Food & Wine Festival

Author, Jen Dixon

The EPCOT® International Food & Wine Festival is back, and it’s one of the best times of year to explore the park. From now through November 22, guests can taste their way around six continents with dishes and drinks inspired by flavors from across the globe. Each Global Marketplace brings something unique to try, making it a true culinary journey right in the heart of Disney.

New Items
Each year, the festival introduces fresh dishes that keep things exciting for returning guests. A few highlights from this year’s menu include:

  • Rodizio-style Grilled Beef Skewer (Flavors from Fire) comes with marble potatoes, charred shallots, roasted baby peppers, and chimichurri, offering a hearty, flavorful bite with a touch of smoky heat.

  • Gulf Coast-style Seafood Roll (Flavors of America) is loaded with warm-water lobster, rock shrimp, lobster bisque, and sherry-crème fraîche on a toasted brioche bun, and it’s paired with von Trapp Brewing’s Natür Helles Lager, which balances the richness perfectly.

Returning Favorites
One of the best aspects of the festival is the blend of new bites alongside classics that keep guests returning year after year. A few returning dishes worth stopping for include:

  • Back by popular demand, the Red Wine-braised Beef Short Rib (Earth Eats) with goat cheese polenta, puttanesca sauce, shaved pecorino, and petit herbs is tender, juicy, and full of flavor.

  • Belgian Waffle (Belgium) topped with berry compote and whipped cream, makes a light, sweet option that pairs perfectly with a coffee or beer and is always a great choice.

  • Chicken Dumplings (China) come with house-made sweet-and-spicy sauce and offer a simple, familiar flavor that has made them a reliable favorite for years.

  • Pumpkin-Mascarpone Ravioli (Forest & Field) is finished with brown butter vinaigrette, pecorino cheese, pomegranate seeds, and hazelnut praline, capturing the flavors of Fall in a dish that guests look forward to every year

Enjoy the Moment
Sometimes the best part of the festival is embracing the unexpected. At Milled & Mulled, the plan was to try the new Apple-Cinnamon and Caramel Mini Churros Sundae with vanilla bean gelato. After placing the order, it was shared the wait would be 17-minutes while the kitchen caught up. Instead of holding out, the next option was the Freshly Baked Carrot Cake with walnuts and cream cheese icing.

It turned out to be the right choice in the moment. The cake leaned more toward a muffin-like texture than a traditional dessert. Warm, soft, and not overly sweet. It was comforting in the best way; and a treat I’d gladly order again. Sometimes the unplanned bites become the ones guests remember most.

Besides the Food
The festival isn’t just about eating and drinking as there is plenty more to enjoy while you’re there. The Eat to the Beat Concert Series, presented by Florida Blue, brings live music to the stage throughout the event. Families can join in activities like Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak scavenger hunt or Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit.

And of course, no festival visit is complete without checking out the exclusive merchandise. This year’s lineup includes the 2025 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival Event Collection along with themed collections featuring Chef Figment, Chef Mickey Mouse, Chef Remy, and the Muppet Lab.

A quick tip before you go: download the My Disney Experience App to get familiar with all the offerings ahead of time. Most festival food booths don’t open until 11 a.m., so keep that in mind when planning your day. And don’t forget to pick up a Festival Passport when you enter the park as it’s the best way to keep track of everything you want to try.
