From the moment you step into the lobby, you're immersed in a world of holiday enchantment. Caribe Royale Orlando decks its halls with dazzling decorations, including at towering Christmas tree adorned with sparkling lights, festive wreaths, and tropical-themed ornaments that add a touch of Florida flair. But that’s not it! Here is a list of our special holiday events happening this year at Caribe Royale Orlando.

1. Walk through a Holiday Chocolate Wonderland

Move over, gingerbread houses—there’s a new confectionery tradition in town! Imagine walking into a lobby adorned with whimsical holiday displays all sculpted from rich, decadent chocolate. Holiday chocolate sculptures return to Caribe Royale Orlando this year, the talented Pastry Team combined artistry and indulgence to create two larger-than-life chocolate sculptures:

Caribe Royale North Pole Express – A 32-foot-long railroad train made from 1,600 pounds of chocolate in partnership with Valrhona Chocolate and República del Cacao.
Santa’s Magical Flight – A showstopping chocolate sculpture of Santa, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen, and of course, Rudolph, all hand-crafted from 2,000 pounds of chocolate in partnership with Barry Callebaut.

2. Embark on a Hidden Holiday Gnome Hunt

Twelve mischievous holiday gnomes are on the loose at Caribe Royale Orlando, and it’s up to you to round them up! A fun event for all ages, the Hidden Holiday Gnome Hunt sends you on a quest throughout the resort to find all the gnomes. If you succeed, a special prize awaits you at the finish line.

3. Send letters to Santa

Whether you're a wide-eyed child crafting heartfelt wishes or a nostalgic adult embracing the spirit of the season, putting pen to paper and sending your thoughts to the North Pole is a timeless tradition. In our lobby, we have a special postcard station with a magical mailbox and courier to take your letters straight to Santa!

4. Have a Very Cocoa Christmas

This year at Caribe Royale Orlando, we created treats that would make even Santa’s elves envious! A daily event offered at Rum Bar featuring Bacardi and The Venetian Chop House—our Very Cocoa Christmas features chocolate-themed cocktails and desserts.

5. Watch a holiday movie under the stars

Picture this: a clear, crisp Orlando night sky, a cozy blanket, a bowl of popcorn, and the glow of holiday lights twinkling above as you settle in to watch a beloved holiday movie under the stars. On Friday and Saturday nights at 8 PM, Caribe Royale Orlando will show your favorite holiday movies outside on the sun deck between Towers II and Towers III. This is a free-to-attend event.

6. Get into the spirit with a cocoa check-in.

On Fridays and Saturdays from 4pm-6pm in December, guests checking into Caribe Royale Orlando will be warmly welcomed with a cozy cup of hot cocoa. It’s the perfect way to get into the spirit and kick-off your holiday getaway.

7. Delight in our annual Christmas Eve Tree Lighting Ceremony

As the sun sets on Christmas Eve and anticipation fills the air, join Caribe Royale Orlando for our annual Christmas Eve Tree Lighting Ceremony. The event will be held at 4:30 PM on December 24th in our lobby. Enjoy sweet holiday refreshments, caroling, and a visit from Santa as we come together to light our magnificent tree in the lower lobby.

8. Visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus

Santa and Mrs. Claus are coming to Caribe Royale Orlando! For three nights, December 22nd, 23rd, and 24th, from 4:30 to 7:30 PM, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be stopping by the resort to visit and take photos with families.

9. Join us for the Lighting of the Menorah

Each night through December 15th, we will celebrate the Festival of Lights with a nightly lighting of the Menorah in our resort lobby. Gather with friends and family to commemorate the miracles of Chanukah, for what will be sure to be a memorable occasion.

10. Deck the halls with in-suite holiday amenities

Just because you’re away from home for the holidays, doesn’t mean you have to give up traditions. For all guests traveling during the holidays, we offer in-suite holiday amenities to add a touch of magic to your stay. Available for pre-order at an additional cost, our special amenities bring the spirit of the holidays directly to your suite. Christmas Day dining is a cherished tradition, bringing together family and friends to savor not only delectable dishes but also the warmth and togetherness that define the holiday. This year on Christmas Day, Caribe Royale Orlando will offer two exceptional dining options:

A festive Christmas Day Buffet Brunch – On Christmas Day, from 11 am to 4 pm at Tropicale, we will offer an extravagant brunch, featuring the freshest seafood, a carving station, classic brunch dishes, and special holiday pastries and desserts. Reservations are required.

An exquisite Christmas Dinner – On Christmas Day from 3 pm to 8 pm at The Venetian Chop House, our award-winning AAA Four Diamond Restaurant, we will offer a sensational prix-fixe menu featuring chef-driven takes on seasonal classics, with an optional pairing of Old and New World wine selections.
