Caribe Royale Orlando Appoints New Director of Sales & Marketing Industry veteran to lead revenue growth for area’s largest all-suite convention hotel
Caribe Royale Orlando, Central Florida’s largest all-suite convention hotel located in the heart of the nation’s number one convention and tourist destination, has appointed David Wahba as director of sales and marketing. Wahba will be responsible for overseeing group and leisure business development for the Caribe Royale Orlando and Buena Vista Suites.
Wahba is a 30-year hospitality industry professional with a proven track record of leading global sales teams and exceeding sales goals at premier convention hotels and resorts across the U.S. and Canada, including properties for Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Wyndham Worldwide, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, and Marriott International.
Most recently, Wahba served for five years as director of sales for the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek/Waldorf Astoria Orlando. Additionally, in the Orlando area he has worked for The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel and Grande Lakes Orlando – The Ritz-Carlton and JW Marriott. Wahba’s international experience includes leading the sales and marketing efforts for resort and conference hotels in Toronto, Canada and Aruba. Under his leadership, he has led four different sales teams to their respective company’s Sales Team of the Year awards.
