2020 New & Coming Soon to Walt Disney World® Resort
10 New Disney World Attractions
Restaurants, roller coasters, and exciting new attractions, here’s what you can expect to see coming to Orlando’s Walt Disney World® Resort.
Walt Disney World® Resort is making big changes to Epcot—the biggest of ANY Disney park in history. This epic, multi-year transformation will stay true to the original vision of the park but also make it more family-friendly with all-new attractions and immersive experiences.
NEW EPCOT PARK ENTRANCE
With classic elements that pays homage to the original park entrance, this new design features an all-new expansive plaza with winding pathways, lovely green spaces, and a reimagined fountain. Leave A Legacy photos will be located just outside the park’s gateway.
Part of Epcot’s MAJOR overhaul includes rolling out a new play pavilion. Located in the former “Wonders of Life” pavilion, this uniquely Epcot attraction will feature an innovative city teeming with interactive experiences, hands-on activities, and fun-filled entertainment. The new pavilion is slated to open in time for the park’s 50th anniversary celebration.
The United Kingdom pavilion will soon be home to Mary Poppins. Inspired by the musical, guests will be invited to venture down iconic Cherry Tree Lane, stroll past Admiral Boom’s house, and then enter the Banks family residence at Number 17, where the adventure begins.
GAURDIANS OF THE GALAXY: COSMIC REWIND
Introducing the first “otherworldly” showcase pavilion at Epcot, the colossal Guardians of the Galaxy-inspired attraction will house one of the longest enclosed roller coasters in the world!
Located in the pavilion formerly occupied by Ellen’s Energy Adventure, this intergalactic adventure starts in a planetarium-style exhibition that explores the formation of Earth’s galaxy and Xander. Then, a one-of-a-kind storytelling roller coaster, complete with vehicles that reverse launch and can rotate 360 degrees, will take on a thrill-ride that promises to be out of this world.
Modeled after a space station, Space 220 at Epcot will be a new culinary experience that lets you eat and drink in outer space. Diners enter through a special elevator for a simulated 220-mile journey to a space station. When you arrive, you’ll enjoy a spectacular dining experience with views of Earth from high above the planet’s atmosphere.
REMY’S RATAOUILLE ADVENTURE
At the France pavilion starting summer 2020, you can “shrink” down to the size of Remy and the other rats for a dazzling 4D experience. This trackless ride takes you on a mad dash through the sights, sounds, and smells of Chef Gusteau’s kitchen.

WONDERFUL WORLD OF DISNEY ANIMATION
A new nighttime show, Wonderful World of Animation invites you on a journey through more than 90 years of Disney and Pixar animation.
MICKEY & MINNIE’S RUNAWAY RAILWAY
Inspired by Mickey Mouse cartoon shorts, this brand-new attraction opened March 2020, just in time for Spring Break! It’s the first ride at any Disney park that stars Mickey Mouse and friends. With no height requirements, this ride is perfect for all ages—from preschoolers to adults.
DRAWN TO LIFE BY CIRQUE DU SOLEIL®
Coming to Disney Springs in April 2020, the show is a magical blend of Disney animation and the fabulous spectacle of Cirque du Soleil. Drawn to Life will celebrate the art of animation through the magic of storytelling in a truly mesmerizing way that only the acrobatic mastery of Cirque du Soleil can deliver.
