PC Technician
Follow through with all information and instruction from the MIS Specialist, to ensure that the network runs smoothly. Oversee the office in the absence of the MIS Specialist and respond to all requests in a timely manner. Communicate with MIS Specialist, on a daily basis, progress of on-going projects. Respond to guest requests for technical support. Install hardware and software, to ensure all users can access the data needed to perform their jobs. Troubleshoot hardware problems, replace as needed. Troubleshoot software problems, upgrade as needed. Terminate wiring for connectivity to the network. Act as liaison between software and hardware vendors and hotel employees, to ensure timely resolution of technical issues. Maintain user accounts and network security at all times. Conduct file maintenance, purges and backups, as necessary. Provide assistance and/or recommendations to management regarding technical issues. Maintain and par stock of supplies and replacement parts. Maintain hardware and software inventories. Conduct routine maintenance and software updates on workstations and printers.
